  1. I have been paying storage fees with Self Directed IRA Services for a couple of years now. And when they contacted me to make another annual storage fee payment, I requested that they send my distribution to me.

    That was three months ago and I still can’t get anyone to respond and send it to me. What’s going on? Is this place a scam? Do I need to take legal action?

    • The company is certainly real, however, that does seem like poor customer service. If you’ve already tried asking for management and that didn’t work, you always have the power of filing a complaint. They are regulated by the government, and are held to legal standards. Another option could be to place a Better Business Bureau complaint. The link can be found on the page above, and since they are accredited by the BBB, they are held to response standards.
